Non-finite Installation (1997) is a to—the—camera performance in which the artist uses her family souvenirs and objects important for her and marked by her personal memories. Her mother’s wedding jewelery, souvenirs from holidays, glasses, a microscope lens and other items appear in a static video image in accidental order. They are filmed through a glass pane under which the artist’s face is visible on a blue background. Numerous objects, sentimental witnesses of the artist’s emotional biography gradually fill in the frame and cover her face.
