It was slowly dawning on the public awareness that public space was no longer governed by the same rules.  Things were starting to happen – confusing things that were unheard of before, things that the same old reaction patterns couldn’t handle.  Naturally, action artists were the first to make use of this situation.  Many groups organized assorted absurd actions; here the Lyyying Community is holding a pseudo-protest action while a  performer pretending to be a radio reporter asks passers-by to comment on it – which is where even more genuine absurdity begins.
