Wolf Kahlen Video Tapes 1969—2010 Documentation of the first retrospective exhibition of Kahlen’s work in Poland, that was prepared by the artist on the occassion of his 70th birthday in collaboration with the ZKM Karlsruhe, Folkwang Museum Essen, Ruine der Künste Berlin and the WRO Art Center. The axis of the show, a collection of complete video works was complemented by video installations and sculptures (Digital Stupa, Angleichung. Körper—Raumsegment 1,5”), photographs and the sound sculpture Breslauer Tisch, created by Kahlen for the WRO 90 festival’s exhibition and, then, donated to the collection of National Museum in Wrocław. Video documentation of the exhibition was created during a workshop of Wolf Kahlen with artists from the Art Brut Gallery in Wrocław.
