Non—finite Performance (1996), in a darkened space, the light is shed on the standing artist with two TV monitors behind her. They present a video work in which the artist’s face is filmed through a sheet of melting ice block. Płotnicka holds a big glass pane in front of her in such way that both ends of a string keeping the pane in the upright position are frozen in a piece of ice that the artist keeps in her hands. There is a tension between her and the audience waiting for the glas pane to fall down and break. The pane, however, remains intact after it falls down onto the floor. More ↓↑
