Men of Vision: Lenin + Marat (1992—1995) is an installtion combining sculptural objects with video projection. Two large styrofoam sculptured heads of Lenin and Marat are integrated video projectors, beaming the animated imagery through the eyes of the sculputers. The images of Marat and Louis XVI, Gorbachev, Breznev, Marat, Lenin and Marx are projected onto four spatial screens suspended from ceiling. The layers of projection represent the layers of the self—repeating history of revolutions and totalitarian systems in the human history.
